Elpida broadens DRAM patent lawsuits against Nanya

Elpida said Wednesday it has sued Nanya in the U.S. and Taiwan for DRAM patent infringements. The Japanese DRAM maker said it has filed a suit with the (ITC) International Trade Commission in the U.S. to stop imports of products that violate seven of its patents. It also filed to stop sales and production of related products with the Taiwan Intellectual Property Court related to four patents.
