Samsung, Motorola Android tablets get Skype video

Skype has released version 2.5 of its application for Android, which allows Android-based tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Motorola Xoom to use its video calling feature, it said in a blog post on Wednesday. The two tablets are among 14 Android-based devices that now can make video calls; other additions include Motorola Droid 3, LG Optimus Black and Acer Iconia. This brings the total number of video-compatible devices to 41, according to Skype.
