Intel has signed an agreement to acquire Telmap, a company focused on mobile navigation and location-based services, search, and content, for an undisclosed amount, the company said in a blog post. Samsung, Motorola Android tablets get Skype video
Skype has released version 2.5 of its application for Android, which allows Android-based tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Motorola Xoom to use its video calling feature, it said in a blog post on Wednesday. The two tablets are among 14 Android-based devices that now can make video calls; other additions include Motorola Droid 3, LG Optimus Black and Acer Iconia. This brings the total number of video-compatible devices to 41, according to Skype.

Former HP CEO Apotheker to get more than $9.6 million
Outgoing Hewlett-Packard CEO Leo Apotheker will get a severance payment of $7.2 million, plus a $2.4 million performance bonus and additional stock benefits, according to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.
